Marine Electricians Darwin is the specialist marine division of Apparent Power NT, a Northern Territory licensed electrical contractor delivering complete marine electrical systems for recreational and surveyed commercial vessels across Darwin Harbour and surrounding coastal waters.
With a background in commercial and industrial electrical projects, we bring structured system design, compliance knowledge, and high-level fault-finding capability into the marine sector.

Our Story
From Commercial & Industrial to Marine
Apparent Power NT was established on a foundation of trade experience dating back to 2009.
Beginning in commercial and industrial projects, we developed strong system design discipline, compliance knowledge, and advanced fault-finding capability across complex installations.
That depth of experience now underpins our marine division, delivering compliant, engineered systems for recreational and surveyed commercial vessels across Darwin Harbour and NT coastal waters.

Marine Electrical Systems
Design, installation and certification and integration of complete marine electrical systems including 240V and 415V installations, 12V and 24V systems, custom switchboard builds, battery banks, inverter/chargers, shore power integration, generator changeover systems and full vessel rewires.
Services include system design, schematic documentation, compliance upgrades, fault diagnosis, load calculations and full system redesign where required.
Survey & Commercial Vessel Compliance
Electrical upgrades, compliance rectification and survey preparation for commercial vessels, including schematic design, documentation packages, fault rectification and full system redesign.
We prepare electrical drawings and system documentation for independent inspection and AMSA-aligned approval processes, working closely with accredited marine surveyors to ensure compliance with applicable marine standards.
